Reflection on winning OCA Chiropractor of the Year in 2019
- RRS Education
Although it now seems like a lifetime ago, last year I was honoured to received the OCA's Chiropractor of the Year award. Since then, it has been quite a year for all of us!
In many ways I feel a group award is entirely appropriate this year, so I wanted to take a moment to sincerely congratulate my colleagues in practice, our national/provincial/state/international associations, our researchers, our educators/educational institutions and supporting organizations (like the CCPA) for navigating this year with purpose, patience, poise and action to best serve our profession, protect and care for our patients, promote and embody scientific public health practices and protect our communities and families during this pandemic. None of this has been easy and unfortunately our collective sacrifices are not yet complete, but I am confident better days are ahead in 2021.
This holiday season (and always), be especially kind to yourself and others, be thankful and stay healthy and #chirostrong!
I feel like I'm just getting started in my career, but this video is one that I will always be proud of: https://youtu.be/zqIUCocLoww
